Marshfield Area Career Expo & Power of Ag

The Marshfield Area Career Expo (MACE) is a talent development initiative of the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry, taking place on Friday, April 25th, at Mid-State Technical College and UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield. This event connects high school sophomores from multiple area school districts with career opportunities through the 16-career cluster model. Students will engage in hands-on activities, explore education requirements, and learn about school-to-career employment opportunities with participating businesses.

Held on the same day, Power of Ag (POA) takes place in the UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield gym and focuses specifically on careers in the agriculture industry. Students will rotate through interactive pods, where local businesses showcase their role in agriculture through immersive demonstrations and hands-on experiences. This event highlights the many career paths within agriculture, from production and technology to business and sustainability.

Both events provide a unique opportunity for students to explore potential career paths, gain real-world insights, and engage with local employers to shape their future workforce journey.
