Thursday, May 29, 5:30 p.m. Lasagna & History at West 14th/Central Waters Brew Pub, 108 W. 9th St.  Tickets are $11 and available at West 14th, MACCI and MainStreet offices.  Friday, May 30, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cemetery tours, Hillside Cemetery.  Meet citizens of Marshfield's past at these two events.

2008 Small Business of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year to be honored!

Wednesday, May 14th, at Clearwaters Convention Center,  MACCI will honor Trudeau Construction as our 2008 Small Business of the year.  Also honored at the breakfast program, beginning at 7:30 a.m. will be Scott Schoenherr, owner of BullsEye Sports as our Entrepreneur of the Year.  Come hear their stories and help us congratulate these individuals by attending.  Contact MACCI for details.

 

Saturday, June 7, 2008- East Hill Bluegrass Band

at Chestnut Center for the Arts, downtown Marshfield, corner of Chestnut Avenue and 3rd St., from 7:30-9:30 p.m.  This band from Eau Claire holds firm to the traditional roots of bluegrass music while incorporating songs from a variety of styles and eras.  For tickets or details : contact 715-389-8999 or office@chestnutarts.org .

   

     Dairyfest 2008..."Moovin & Groovin!"

Dairyfest's 27th event will be held June 6-7-8 and promises to be better than ever!  Saturday activities will again take place downtown, behind City Hall and will include arts & crafts in Veteran's Park and a wide variety of food.  A performance by the UW-Madison Marching Band will return by popular demand after the parade, which kicks off on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  Call for details, 384-3454.

Starting a New Business?

Wednesday, May 28th, a  workshop focusing on "How to Write a Business Plan" will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the MACCI office, 700 S. Central Ave.  This workshop will address all aspects of developing a business plan.  The cost is $25 and is sponsored and conducted by SCORE members, Counselors to America's Small Business.  Call MACCI to register at 715-384-3454.
