The Chamber of Commerce relies on the participation of its membership to promote Marshfield. Volunteers are both welcome and encouraged to get involved in the community through the Chamber of Commerce.
Operationally Oriented Committees
Business & Governmental Affairs
To inform chamber members and the public on issues affecting business.
Marshfield Economic Development Association (MEDA)
To ensure the quality of life in the Marshfield area through business development.
Retail Coordinating Council
To promote the retail sector of Marshfield.
Small Business Council
To strengthen and maintain a solidly diversified small business economy.
Marshfield Area Human Resource Association (MAHRA)
To create an environment which promotes the processing of information, issues, ideas and concerns of mutual interest to its membership, namely human resource personnel in manufacturing, distribution, trade construction, and medical systems.
Leadership Marshfield Advisory Council
Responsible for program topics, format, schedule, selection of participants and evaluation of the Leadership Marshfield program.
Agri-Business Committee
To promote the growth and vitality of Central Wisconsin Agriculture for the benefit
of the entire community.
Technology Council
The purpose of this council, comprised of private and public sector representatives, is to enhance the telecommunications infrastructure needs of the greater Marshfield area, to improve the competitiveness of its businesses and quality of life for its residents.
Energy Council
Meets monthly to foster the Marshfield Area in becoming a sustainable growing community through development of new, economically practical, alternative energy resources and more efficient use of existing energy resources.
Event Oriented Committees
Ambassadors
To represent the Chamber of Commerce at ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremonies as well as serve as the public relations arm of the Chamber.
Annual Meeting
To plan the annual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce.
Business Expo
To provide local business and industry an opportunity to promote their products and services.
Chamber Caper
To plan an annual social function for Chamber members including dinner and golf.
Business Bowl
To coordinate a bowling tournament for our members.
Young Professionals

To coordinate an event for the community in conjunction with the fireworks.
Firm of the Year
To formulate criteria for selection of firm of the year, select the firm, and create other policies for the event.
Dairyfest Steering
Annual community festival to promote and salute our dairy industry and promote the City of Marshfield.
